Since 2006, the first Thursday of February is being marked as Global Election Day.

One of the key objectives of this day is to inform the public about the new achievements and challenges regarding the different models of the election systems.

This year, the Citizens Association MOST marks the Global Election Day by advocating and promotion of the idea for changing of the election system from closed list proportional system into open lists proportional system with aim to improve the election system and democratic processes in Macedonia.
